I know not everyone can stomach what I have to say, and I’m OK with that.
It can feel too raw and too real sometimes – but that’s what I’m here for.
Because as long as women are walking around, buttoned up and living and leading from self-sacrifice instead of a surplus of what feels good, we collectively aren't moving the needle for each other or the generations that are looking to us.
It’s time to move the needle. Drastically.
It’s time to put your attention on one of the parts of your identity that’s blocking your ability to feel pleasure - unbridled pleasure.
The biggest barrier and the biggest shadow part of you that is preventing your experience of pleasure and all aspects of your life is the martyr.
The martyr relishes and loves to say:
You're not worthy of deep pleasure
You're not deserving enough
There is no way you should celebrate that thing because you haven't done all the steps, because you haven't worked hard enough, because you haven't proven yourself yet…
The martyr relishes the story of self-sacrifice and self sufficiency.
*Yawn*
The martyr loves loves loves to push and push and push and push. So that pleasure remains elusive and always in the future.
Just reading this, are you feeling the strength that the martyr has in preventing you from experiencing full fledged pleasure in every aspect of your life, your work?

When the martyr is running the show, and running her script and running her story, and seeking validation that she craves from overextending, all that's happening is she's getting off on that.
Truth is: You're getting something out of that.
And what hasn't happened yet is you don't have the tools to know how to manage her.
That's all that's going on. There's nothing wrong with you. It's not that you're not worthy. It's not that you don’t deserve it.
The martyr will tell you that. She will tell you that because that story was implanted in her years and years and years and years ago.
Your pleasure has been suffocated by the martyr because it was never safe for you to fully feel your pleasure. It intimidated people. It scared people and they weren't equipped to encourage you to be in your pleasure, because they were taught to be intimidated by their pleasure and so on and so on and so on.
The martyr is multi-generational.
She goes back, back, back, back, back, back back.
And you being brazen enough to examine this to course correct this, to really look at this and move some of these pieces around and do things in an unorthodox way is you changing what will happen for the generations that come after you.
That is how important this work is.
That is why you have an opportunity to course correct this once and for all so that you can be in more of your pleasure.
And before the mask of martyrdom gets re-activated and says: I can do this and work this out on my own...
You need to know – you cannot break through the martyr on your own.
That in itself is the martyr at play and what she feeds off.
It’s your time to finally grasp...
...that you are worthy of this pleasure
...that it’s your birthright to be in pleasure in every aspect of your life and that is nothing to run away from
...that it’s nothing to hide from anymore
...that your pleasure is a completely natural state and a completely natural expression of how powerful you are.
At some point, you just forgot that feeling good feels f*cking amazing.
